Have you got the chance to check out the post about degree requirement for pharmaceutical sales managers? If you haven't, do give it a quick read because it was presented in an 'unusual' form but very down to earth.
In today's post, we're back to pharmaceutical sales job interview ...
When you are going for a pharmaceutical sales job interviews, you can bet on its most significant loophole ever, which I am going to share in just a moment. It has created, probably, one of the best job opportunities in the industries but it also created one of the biggest ILL.
What am I talking about?
That means the customers.
But sadly, the future employee seldom took the time to talk to customers.
They rely heavily on what candidates have printed and the impression during interviews. Not to down-grade anyone but those can be really deceiving.
For example, I had attended an interview with a Multi-national Pharma Company (MNC) and was passed through to the second interview, with fully paid traveling expenses. It was an eye-opener experience except, I finally found out that another candidate got the post.
Little that the company knows and a lot that the MARKET knows about who the candidate really is. It is not surprising when that candidate is going to be handed a warning letter soon. I 'praise' the candidate for successfully land the job and I want to say, "Serve you right!" for the company for its lack of homework.
In fact, how well would you think a child who is lazy to do his or her homework will do in school? Not very tough to answer, right? Serve YOU right...
